- Understand and prepare for emerging ethical challenges in accounting
- Analyse some recent ethical case studies and their implications for accountants
- Adapt your behaviour in the light of IESBA’s first Global Ethics Standards for Tax Planning
About the course
Ethics is a constantly changing landscape. As technology develops so does ethics – as the world around us changes so do the ways we understand it. With technological advances in AI as well as evolving working patterns and shifting responsibilities for finance professionals it's only natural that new ethical challenges and dilemmas emerge.
This course considers these ethical challenges and how we can best place ourselves to deal with them. We also look at how to predict threats on the horizon and examine the ethical guidance being provided by professional bodies. As an accountant you can and should act as the conscience of your organisation.
